Safety
The safety and health of each employee of Triumph EPCM is critical to the successful operation of this company. To the greatest degree possible, senior management will provide all mechanical, financial, and physical resources required for a safe and healthy worksite.
Senior management recognizes that the responsibilities for safety and health are shared.
Senior management accepts the responsibility for leadership of the safety and health program, for its effectiveness and improvement, and for providing the hazard controls required to ensure safe conditions. Triumph EPCM supports the Modified Work process and will ensure that all company employees will be provided with meaningful work in the event of a personal injury at work.
Contractors and Workers are responsible for cooperation with all aspects of the Safety and Health Management System, including compliance with all rules and regulations, and for continually behaving in a safe manner while performing their duties.
Visitors are responsible for following the policies and standards developed by Triumph.
It is the objective that all company work activities will comply with legislative occupational health and safety requirements as they relate to planning, operation, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. All persons will perform their jobs in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.
To carry out this policy, Triumph EPCM will:
- Conduct accident prevention and occupational health controls to safeguard employees and the public from injuries or health hazards.
- Hold each employee accountable for assuring that equipment and facilities within their area of responsibility are managed in a safe and healthy manner.
- Train all employees in good safety and health practices.
- Develop and enforce safety and health rules and requiring that employees cooperate within these rules as a condition of employment.
- Investigate every accident, promptly and thoroughly, to determine cause and to correct the problem so it will not happen again.
